A 12 week intervention course, to engage young people in making their own video game that will be published online.
Running twice weekly for six weeks (Monday and Thursdays 9:30-12:30pm) for Years 7-9s, in groups of six students. Designed to work with those on reduced timetable or low attendance. Ran from our base at St Stephens Church, BD5 7BH.
The course focuses on empowering young people to overcome life situations they are struggling with and building up teamwork skills.
Games making software and hardware skills are taught as a way of engaging the young people.
NEAR HALF PRICE COST £228* per student per 6 week course …this includes 12 sessions, 2 home visits and presentation evening.
(Subsidised through WCIT to £19 a session for a limited time, normal cost £36 a session) Groups start middle Feb 2020 and April 2020.
